Music Admin : Capacity Building
A niche project landed in the lap of a growing music administration company. While it wasn't in their core business, they took on the client as an additional revenue stream. The CEO absorbed the additional work as she grew her business and team. When it became unsustainable, she turned to me to take it on. For several years, I managed the multi-million dollar complicated royalty splits each month. Eventually, as other clients sought out similar work, the CEO hired an on-staff person to handle the increasing workload.
Non-Profit: Staffing Needs Assessment
A new Executive Director wanted to better understand the staff she inherited and how to make the best use of the team. She also felt that her team's job descriptions were out of date and not aligned with actual day-today functions. Plus she needed to understand her team's capacity as she evaluated new services. I sat down with her management team plus a handful of other team members to get a feel for their day-to-day activities and assessed barriers to success. I presented a plan to streamline her senior team (as well as put in place a path to succession), increase capacity and consistency as well as clarify roles.
Multi-Office Pediatrics: HR Consulting & Interim Support
The HR Director joined the back-office team for a multi-office pediatric office in Middle Tennessee. In addition to the HR work that needed tackling for this newly established back-office team, their talented administrative guru was leaving to help with family. I came in and got to work documenting everything (and we mean everything!) the administrative guru was doing from credentialing the doctors to processing payroll. I also helped complete an overhaul of their employee manual and new hire onboarding process. I continued handling the day-to-day until they could find a suitable replacement for their administrative guru including benefits enrollment, ADP administrator, new hire documentation and onboarding.
